One plus 2 the 2016 flagship killer is here

And the killing machine, beast of a smartphone is here! One Plus 2 launched on 28th of July has taken the mobile market for a crazy ride! After it’s predecessor One plus’ flagship, One plus Two doubles down on power, design and innovation. Though there have been concerns about over heating as well as concerns about less battery capacity, lack of a 2k HD display and no NFC but still we need to find out whether this smartphone delivers the exact bang for buck or not. So let’s just start our initial impressions for this device here on Inspire2rise. Here’s a quick sneak peek into this killer device.

One plus 2 specifications and details:

Design and display:

One plus 2 front display of the phone
The 5.5 inch display is Full HD but an AMOLED display would have killed it!

The classy yet stylish design still exists in the device, and in much better form than the One plus One. The front of the device doesn’t have any branding, to keep it simple yet polished looking. The presence of on screen buttons does make the look a little less appealing but it still looks good. The body of the phone comes in aluminium alloy frame and jewellery grade stainless steel. Protected with Gorilla Glass, the display is full HD 5.5 inch IPS LCD In-Cell Display. The screen is adjustable towards bright sunny days and provides crystal clear viewing angles. Weighing only 175 grams, the One plus 2 is easy and light to carry around.

The phone comes with many exciting features like Alert Slider, which syncs android notifications into 3 profiles: All Notifications, Priority Interruptions and No Interruptions. Also, a feature called Style Swap can change back cover of your phone into many more designs, no tools required, just buy the cover of your choice, swap as many times as you want!

The USB C connector is the latest addition to the One plus two.

Performance:

The phone comes with one of the most powerful processors available, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Soc. The device comes with ample storage, 64 GB and it is eMMC 5.0 Flash memory for lighting fast performance. One Plus 2 is also paired with up to 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM for a lag free performance and powering up your apps, games and videos! The phone will be available in two variants, the 16 GB variant will have 3 GB of RAM while the 64 GB variant which is just a little higher priced would be available with 4 GB of RAM.

One plus 2 performance 810 chipset

For an easy access to the phone, rather than changing passwords into different patterns and codes, One Plus 2 lets you save up to five fingerprints to unlock your phone with a simple press of less than half a second. And this time, Oxygen OS is here! It is the first device to ship with OnePlus’ own operating system, Oxygen OS. It’s a new take on Android with customizations like screen gestures, the ability to switch between hardware and capacitive buttons etc. makes any user’s experience great! But it still retains the stock look of Vanilla Android which makes the overall OnePlus experience comparable to a Google Nexus smartphone!

In collaboration with Swiftkey, the phone comes with smarter keyboard to which will learn your language and the way you type in no time. It supports 100+ languages and makes the keyboard usage with predictions more efficient.

Camera:

One plus 2 back camera and dual tone flash

A 13 MP camera with 6 physical lenses, LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. What else do you want?! One Plus 2 gives you the power of photography in your pocket. The most amazing part is of sensor, which contains 1.3 micron light-collecting pixels to deliver low-light shots of stupefying clarity! The front camera is significantly wide angled which makes sure to capture as many elements in the picture as it can and focuses on an object within 0.33 milliseconds. Additional features include shooting 4k HD videos, slow motion video, time lapse videos and more.

One plus 2 camera options present

Other exciting stuff about the One plus 2:

The One plus two would have a lot of back cover options to choose from including Bamboo, Moonstone finish, Kevlar (yep, you read it right!) and few more!

Here’s a picture showcasing the bamboo cover for the One plus 2.

The One plus two is available for consumers and enthusiasts alike to experience in few select cities of India in the experience zones.

It will be available to buy for the general users from 11th August but the fact remains that you need to have an invite in order to buy this smartphone.
