Reports had been pouring in of a Redmi Snapdragon 855 based flagship coming in soon. Early reports pointed to the device being named as Redmi X. But Xiaomi official Lu Weibing denied that their device was named like that. Since then it has been an uphill battle to find out more about this device. But now from a recently leaked image on Weibo, it seems that the device would be named Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro.
Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro specifications and price
As shown in the leaked image the device is expected to be called Redmi K20 Pro. From the basic specifications written on the plastic cover, it can be assumed that this would be a no compromise device. It will come with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6.39″ AMOLED screen and a 20 MP popup selfie camera. The device would have a Sony IMX 586 48 MP sensor at the back along with one super wide angle sensor. The battery capacity is expected to be 4000 mAh.
Right now there’s no confirmation that the device would actually be called “Redmi K20 Pro”. So we would advise you to take all these leaks with a pinch of salt. But as Lu Weibing denied the Redmi X name earlier, most probably this name is a fluke too.
One thing is sure according to all of the leaks till now. This is going to be the first Redmi device with an all screen design and a popup elevating mechanism selfie camera.
From other leaks also it’s confirmed that the pricing for this device would be really competitive and lower than the MI 9. The Redmi K20 Pro is expected to be unveiled later this month.
