The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro was amongst the greatest budget devices of 2018. It was amongst the cheapest in the budget segment to come with the Snapdragon 636 chipset and it heralded a new age of performance and full view displays for Xiaomi. But one year later the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is going to be launched and consumers are not so excited about the device as the specifications etc. are all out and don’t look so promising. So today we are going to talk in detail about Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specifications and price in India.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications and price in India: The LowDown.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 pro carries the notch trend of recent smartphones and comes with a 6.26 inch 19:9 aspect ratio display. The display itself has an IPS LCD panel and a resolution of 1080*2280 pixels.
The most unexciting feature of this phone is the chipset which is unchanged from before. The Snapdragon 636 makes a return on the Redmi Note 6 Pro and it comes with two different variants.
The 4/6 GB of RAM version with 64 GB of storage and the 3 GB RAM version with 32 GB of storage. It supports microSD card but the slot is still a hybrid one and not a dedicated one.
The camera sensor seems improved, at least on paper, when compared to the predecessor. The front notch has a dual camera sensor i.e. a 20 MP f/2.0 sensor and a 2 MP sensor for depth sensing.
The back 12 MP camera sensor is different too as now it comes with a f/1.9 sensor. This should help click better low light shots as the aperture is better.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 4000 mAh battery and it only supports Quick Charge 2.0 and not the newer standards. It runs on MIUI which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and there’s no sign of Android Pie in the near future.
The MIUI 10 update surely spices up things a lot but without proper timely Android version updates, the future looks a little bleak!
Its build and design are of Aluminium. The unibody design is almost similar to the previous version except for the notch on the front.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specifications and price: Conclusion!
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 pro might be a good device on paper but in a market which is already oversaturated with great value for money devices, it would be tough for it to make a mark.
Xiaomi hasn’t launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro yet in India. But if their past history is anything to go by we can expect them to change a few things in this specific product which might make it more appealing to the average Indian consumer.
An updated chipset or different camera modules might make this device more interesting for the buyers!
So what do you think about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specifications and price in India? Will it be able to make a dent in the market?
