Lenovo Vibe K4 Note hands on review, specs and price

As promised, Lenovo has come out with its latest device, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note. A 5.5 inch screen which is similar to K3, and powered by 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor and a swanky finger print scanner has made Lenovo a brand which evolves with its each Smartphone. Let’s have a closer look at the device:
Lenovo Vibe K4 Note specs:
Design and Display:
Lenovo Vibe K4 note comes in a rectangular shaped design, rounded at edges. A sharp screen with metal finished body makes the device stand out in the crowd. There’s a 5.5 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen with IPS 178 degree wide-view display, with 450 Nits Brightness, 1000:1 contrast, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powered by Android 5.1 and Vibe UI, the overall UI of the device is decent enough. Overall dimensions of the device are 153.6 x 76.5 x 9.15~3.8mm; Weight: 158g. As of now, the device is available in Tuxedo black color.
Software and Performance:
Powered by 1.3 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with up to 450MHz Mali T720-MP3 GPU, Vibe K4 Note gives you an ample space of 3GB RAM to work wonders with your device. Multitasking was pretty smooth on the device. For core strengths and weaknesses, you have to wait for our full review on the same. There is a 3GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. Thanks to a 5.5 inch HD display with a 178 degress wide angle view, K4 Note provides you with sheer pleasure while watching a video. The state of the art Wolfson audio codec cuts down on background noise and enhances sound quality during recording as well. K4 Note also comes loaded with twin front ported stereo speakers by Dolby, something which is a first in Lenovo smartphones. There is storage option upto 144 GB which gives you ample storage space for your favorite movies and
Camera:
The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note comes with 13 MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, ISOCELL sensor. There is a front camera of 5 MP which clicks average pictures. We would have loved some more improvement in the front camera section but we can always hope in the next device, we might be able to see some more MP’s in the front camera. The back camera works beautifully and captures detailed images.

The only problem we faced was when we tried to click pictures in low light. The result was not up to our expectation, though it also means that our expectations were too high from this device!

Battery:
Vibe K4 Note comes with 3300mAh built in battery which can last for about 10-12 hours with minimum to normal usage. During heavy usage, the battery might drain within 6-8 hours.
Connectivity:
The device is a dual sim smartphone and supports microSIM and also has a microSD card slot for expansion. It comes with bluetooth, Wi-fi and few other connectivity options!
